Re: CRF250X dual sport converting

I had a South Dakota tag on one of my bikes. I don't even remember which one although I do remember it being easy to get. My trailer is regged in Maine. Don't know if that's an option but that was easy too. I rode someone's crf250x out at taskers and really liked it. It was so much easier to ride th...

Re: Mini Moto still a thing? (AKA what to do w/ odd TTR125 wheels)

The indoor go cart track in sterling, va that used to host mini moto track time (not racing) is gone. :( I had a lot of fun out there the little that I went. I rode my ttr125 a little bit but mostly used a borrowed crf150r (which made like 21hp stock on the RnR dyno, if memory serves, a freak motor ...

Re: Mountain bike trails

I went walking again today and this time I could hear a big 4 stroke in the woods close to where the mtb trails are. I heard a 2t too but only when the 4t was turned off. :killingme: I need to make friends...

Re: Mountain bike trails

That's cool, yup I am the same way lately. Need more exercise and Annapolis Waterworks is 2.5 miles from me, so no excuse not to go ride some. And this trail system connects up to Bacon Ridge to the north and west-I went to the trailhead tuesday and took a look. MORE does a great job of setting up ...

Re: Mountain bike trails

Brunswick is a pretty hilly area. I just walked out there from the house and took the little trail between the 2 trail heads (at least it looks like there are just 2). Only about 2.2 miles round trip so I've got no excuse not to become familiar with these trails. The little trail I took is very twis...

Re: Mountain bike trails

There are signs and other obvious indicators of the little trail system in brunswick. I guess I haven't gone over that way in awhile. Bunches of cars with bike racks at the middle school too.

Re: Mountain bike trails

Huh, and I had no idea they were even there. I've run past the trail entrance countless times but don't remember seeing any signs or anything. I just thought it was some woods near the middle school... I'll have to put my mountain bike back together.

Re: Mountain bike trails

There are apparently some professionally set up mtb trails less than a mile from my house. I just happened to see them when looking at a map of my C&O ride earlier today and saw a little marker in a place that I thought nothing existed. I'll have to check 'em out this week. https://more-mtb.org/...

Re: Mountain bike trails

Well, then you're only a small step from a Sur Ron....just saying. Well, a sur ron or similar wouldn't replace bicycling, which I've switched back to for exercise instead of running that I was doing for a long time. I could see getting a sur ron to replace my dirt bike though. I've got a "mild...

Re: Mountain bike trails

I'm too lazy to learn how to ride a bicycle on the kinds of trails I like riding motorcycles on. Maybe an ebike with a throttle would do the trick for the shorter rock gardens.
