Re: What did you work on today?

Pretty cool, looks like you've got a nice setup. I'm too cheap to spend that much on a PC and I like sitting on the couch playing games so I use a laptop (with different things to keep from melting my lap). I've got a stack of 2080Ti cards sitting in my office at work waiting for me to set them up (...

Re: What did you work on today?

Maybe I'll have a grandkid in the not too distant future but I have to play with the legos all by myself for now. :killingme:

Re: What did you work on today?

Those projects are impressive but have you ever built a ducati from the ground up just from parts? Ok, it's a lego ducati but I'm just a big kid (or sad old man?) so... It's kind of cool. While it's not a 6 speed it does have kind of a clutch and it'll go into neutral or in gear. I've got a few lego...

Re: ADV Bike weight comparison chart

The 701 enduro LR (model with the 6.6 gal tank) is supposed to be coming here. That'd make a decent adv bike, I think. The front tank is kind of hideous but would put a lot of weight on the front wheel, which seems like it'd be a good thing as my enduro r front end can go kind of nuts if I whack the...

Re: What did you work on today?

I've got a little pocket hole jig. I've used it for all kinds of things from fixing chairs at work to doing in place framing in the house. Very handy.

Re: Sideling Hill Creek Crossing

Pretty cool. I've ridden my wr250x out that way. I had it absolutely pinned going up sideling hill and had no hope at all of maintaining speed. ;)

Re: What did you work on today?

I finally opened up the box with the battery for my xtrainer. I went with the pricy antigravity restart battery since it keeps a bit in reserve and has a push button to allow access to the reserve capacity (I recognize that this is not the same as having a kick-starter...). I connected with the comp...

Re: Bike pic thread!

Are the circles drawn or are those scars from foot pegs? Heh, this thread is a year old. :jack: The circles are chalk. You had to be leaned over pretty good to scrape the pegs on that bike (the back end was jacked up and I had short pegs on it). I used to ride that bike way too fast in the mountain...
