Re: Connie turned 100!
Gotta love some Concours long life. My c14 won't roll over, but with a good trip, she'll see 100k before the end of this year.

Re: Best Dual Sport GPS
I've been through a bunch, Montana without a doubt is the winner. If you're not going off-road, the Zumo is probably fine, but the last generation that I actually laid hands on was an expensive automotive unit with Bluetooth and waterproofing. The cheaper Nuvi won't get much done, and in a motorcycl...

Nice! How big of a pain is it to get one of those plated? Piece of cake in VA. Take title to DMV, wait in line, pay money, get plate. Sicass makes a decent kit to do high/low/horn/brake light/tag light/tag mount. Pretty close to plug and play. I know you're going to switch coolants, so probably no ...

Re: Peters Mill Run Wednesday 12/16
495 is a beast trail. Next time I get a sucker with me, I'm giving it a go again... Maybe... Nah, probably not... Peters mill, definitely big bike rideable. As is the fire road on the Taskers side, just don't take the trail down to it. I'd ride either one on my motard, but I might not be the sharpes...

I usually just stop at the Shell right off 81 at the Edinburg exit. Many gas stations in the area have the passes, but not all.Damage Inc. wrote:can you get a permit from any gas station in the area? You just ask for a riding permit for Taskers and they will know what I need?

It is probably going to be clearing brush and/or marking trail. I think someone said something about digging/setting some posts too. I'm pretty sure you have to be certified to run a chain saw as it is national forest. Chainsaw, yup, need a sawyer certificate to run a saw as a volunteer. I don't kn...
