Out riding Michaux today from Frederick, MD. I feel like more gates than normal are open possibly for hunting? Rattlesnake run, high rock rd, and Piney Mountain Ridge Rd make for a nice Northward route coming from the MD-PA border. Ridge Rd is open as well and makes for a nice gravel start heading ...

Great long-standing local burger joint with unique burgers. Always my go to spot. Only outdoor seating. Business was once contacted by Jimmy Buffet's lawyers as their name was Cheeseburgers in Paradise

Certainly not anymore. Tons of new restaurants and local beers. Food prices are high now and food mediocre. The new rooftop patio is cool.

Gates are open except the one in the NE corner where Gambrill Park Rd meets fishing creek road. I'm not sure why and this closure was within the last couple weeks and may be temporary. It's still bike passable.
