Petcock mod and fuel cap mods done. Runs much better surging is greatly reduced. I think there are jets in my future.

Well I hit up the Klr forums and got some more info. It seams the petcock on the klr is vacuum activated and has a lot of problems so I'm going to do the hurricane mod to it making it a gravity feed. I just need to remember to close it every time it sits. If I still have a problem after the mod ill ...

Well mods to carb done. I did the 22 cent mod and unpluged the mix screw. Throtle response is much better but i still have the same surging problem going on. Back to the drawing boerd.
