Re: Emmitsburg Ride, 8/20/22

Out at Farm today doing some work. I cleaned up my (mostly) dry creek/hard enduro section. And found some more big downed trees.

Re: Maryland ride loop

Watching some YouTube videos and caught this one in Frederick MD. Does anyone recognize the area or have ridden it? Looks like a nice day ride. Will try to email the guy to get the files as some already have. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UarRWdxedI0 A few of those spots I know exactly where they...

Re: Aprilia back in the ADV game

Id honestly really like a big ADV bike. But in reality I think it would sit WAY too much. And thats a lot of $$ for a bike to get used at most 1/year You make a really good point. It depends on how you prioritize riding time. I'm kind of a multi-use owner. I do big roads trips on my 1200GS that som...

Re: Aprilia back in the ADV game

Im loading the bike up in the van 95% of the time. Im still trying to make a Big Bend trip happen. That is around 1,800 miles of highway to get there (one way!). I also feel I can have a much nicer camping experience using the van as basecamp. Id honestly really like a big ADV bike. But in reality I...

Re: What did you work on today?

We have a bak flip cover on a truck at work and after using it for a few years it 1) hasn't held up the best and 2) I very much dislike having it folded up to back of the cab when open and...

Pikes Peak is a cool event. I'm a little bummed that it is all paved, but still a really cool event.

Re: Shenandoah 500

Its been a few years since Ive done the S500.

But I think you’d have the most fun running the dualsport loop on your Husqvarnas. Short of that one A option the course is fairly easy.

Re: Emmitsburg Ride, 8/20/22

I was out there today with my work crew. We cleaned up a few spots. And I think we will add a “bonus orange loop” to the main pink loop.
