Re: Southern Maryland Dirt Riders SMDR
Forgot about this Wicomico reopened and the regular woods loop is well marked and we’ve ridden there a couple of times without “wrong way” issues. As usual anywhere, you have to remember that there are slower riders out there There is some issue with the SMDR property on 301, and it’s closed to rid...

Re: Easy Ride
Cute dog. Cavalier King Charles? Ours like to go paddle boarding with my wife. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-MmJwBMc/0/xQvVT3jzBcSNKb2b2LSkcCH5F6HNxc7H5HhggsfG/XL/i-MmJwBMc-XL.jpg Only 1/2 king charles spaniel. We have a full cavalier spaniel too, she is super friendly to all. While Oliver ki...

Re: Mousse Balls
I don't find a standard mousse/bib overly difficult to install. I have found that the Nitro bibs are significantly heavier than a michelin bib. I have masses recorded somewhere if anyone is jonesin' to know. During a sprint enduro I once ran a tire with bib combo that was not correct. I didn't have...

Easy Ride
I took a short ride at end of day. Took my little dog. Slow back roads and a few dirt roads. On way home I filled up tank to check mileage (hadnt done before bc Im usually filling from a fuel jug). 76.9 mpg! I guess thats pretty good. But I could handle a less mpg for a couple more hp… Still good fu...

Re: Mousse Balls
I haven't looked into these but what is the advertised "advantage" over a traditional mousse/bib? For instance, if the angle is "better tune-ability", it seems one could just section up a bib to allow a little more room for it to move and end up getting a similar result. Or even...

Re: Mousse Balls
More testing with mousse balls. If it lasts I think it will be a winner.

Re: Mousse Balls
Since they are heavily lubed, and you need to have large gaps between them to simulate lower pressures, I can't figure out how they keep them from shifting around and clumping after a while. I bought them directly from a shop Tbone&Earle’s I asked a lot of questions and he walked me thru it. He...

Mousse Balls
I installed Mousse Tire Balls in the front wheel of the Ultra Bee.
I believe it was 22 balls to simulate 7-8 psi. So far works pretty well. I havent ridden in anything too rocky yet. We’ll see.
So far I like it. Mousse in the front and I still have tubliss in the rear.

Re: 2024 Michaux Dual Sport
I'll be in NH, picking up a new toy. I mean, "a new toy for the wife." :-P But she's leaving the country, so it's only fair that I get to play with it while she's gone. ~Patrick I wont be at event either (family vacation). So it was nice to be able to help do some clearing and get to ride...
