Re: Shenandoah 500
The fact that its a CR500 with an extra seat and wheel, and it can do double jumps may confuse them slightly. I though we'd save the single and double jumps until we got out onto the course. :harhar: Maybe a 60 MPH 3-wheeled drift into tech might be a bit much? There was some NVTR guy out t...

Re: Shenandoah 500
they would have a cow over the wasp and still probably let you ride it with enough persistance I need to find someone with a sound meter - I don't want to push something until I know I meet all the criteria... including remounting the VIN plate that came off  I called around my area and all ...

Re: Getting prepared for the S-500
Thanks. Yeah, the new gear is SOOO much better. It is still just fine on the road - didn't affect much. I don't know how I lived without it until now!Bucho wrote:The new paint looks good.
The lower gearing works so much better then the stock "street gearing", doesn't it?

Re: Shenandoah 500
I'll be taking Friday off and riding down. I'm probably going to leave around 5am but will be taking the scenic route. I imagine I'll be there around noon.

Re: Getting prepared for the S-500
Alright, got her all finished up and I took her for a test run at GR today. Although I am going to have to do a little touchup painting, I am very happy with the new setup. The 14T sprocket is exactly what I needed and is a great compliment to the D606s. This, coupled with the tough looking paint jo...

Re: Greenridge Sunday, Sept 19th
Well, to be honest, you didn't miss much. Entertainment sure, but not a lot of riding. My bike ran like a champ but my buddies (klr250 and rm250) both had bike trouble. We ended up doing some field maintenance and got them going in time to do a lap before heading home. Always a good time at GR. http...

Re: Greenridge Sunday, Sept 19th
Oops, I meant Sept 20th. Anyway, we're driving up there together but we'll probably park at the parking area where Mertens rd meets the trail on the West side. Should be 2 white pickups - mine being a newer Tacoma with WA plates. Maybe we'll see ya up there...
