My personal experience with the KTMs I've owned including the 300 , is the best pipe I've ever run , and I've tried FMF Gnarly , SST , Enduro Enginering , Pro Circuit , is the stock pipe that comes with the bike . How many miles are there on it ? Almost sounds like timing chain may be worn and when the bike is at idle there is slack in it and when you give it gas or under load the slack is taken up.
