Just a helpful hint from someone that rides in the ROCKY Frederick Watershed - I have found that shorter cranks (with corresponding lower gearing) dramatically reduces pedal strikes.

The OFG just got the ratchet only https://eastbound.shop/product/lc1500-ratchet-connector-loose/ It takes a 1" dia tube. It is a good product as delivered but I took off the part that the tube goes into and mounted it on a slightly smaller lighter ratchet I already had which now weighs a little...

4 x18 standard trials tire on a 2.15 wide rim. It fits BARELY with about a 1/2" offset. I to 2 PSI with Tubless and love it.
