Re: Trials Bug nibbling at me

I live a few hours away from where you guys typically meet up or ride and if I'm going to practice at all nearer to home it'll probably need to be something stealthy. I have some rock and hill in my back yard but also have neighbors just 100' away as well. They're pretty cool but there's a few knuck...

Re: Trials Bug nibbling at me

Thanks for weighing in to help me get started. It seems like the consensus is to get as new a modern trials bike as I can find and dive in. I'm intrigued by the electric option as that would probably let me ride at home and nearby without running afoul of crabby neighbors. This is something that I'...

Trials Bug nibbling at me

I'm catching myself spending a lot of time watching those whacky Aussies and their trials cross-training videos and watching/reading reviews of trials bikes. I'm thinking this might be the time to scratch that itch I've had for a long long time. I'm posting up here asking for advice about the best w...

Re: setting up the van

Do you do much camping in the van? Where, if I may ask? I've considered a camper top for my F-150 but the places I haul the bike to have camping at or nearby and I'm a pretty comfortable tent camper or grab a hotel room nearby. I thought about setting something up like this for my track days but I f...

Re: 60+ on Saturday...who's riding?

At Wicomico. Grey ford truck parked near the trail entrance on the left. We didn't make it and I get my daughter out near to home. I wish I had - the weather was amazing. How was the trail there? Wet and muddy? My daughter isn't ready to too much gnarly stuff but I'm hoping by the time spring rolls...

Re: 60+ on Saturday...who's riding?

I'm going to try to get my daughter out on her TTR110 Saturday afternoon. The closest place to us is probably down at Wicomico or Budds Creek who I hear has a newish woods trail.

Re: I got banned on ADvrider-again

What the hell?? Jeez, you must be one anti social misfit to draw the ire of that breed of narcissists spring loaded to wild power. I made the mistake of posting up in the CDR (Continental Divide Ride) thread that there's a much more exciting route through Colorado than the one written up by Cannonsh...

Re: Shade / Bald Eagle (7-mountains)

PaTra website states dual sport riding has been “reclassified” as summer only. Doesn’t sound like the winter season will ever be back. My guess is we are only a few years away from no riding at all in bald eagle. Enjoy it while it lasts. Also interested in some kind of maps for the reading area rid...
