Re: Stark VARG
You must be in the "convince myself I don't really want a Varg" forums because that's counter to everything I see in the three forums I'm in and the videos I just watched. :) LOL. I just used to design EV drives and can pickup on this stuff quickly. I invented an optimal SVM zero vector s...

Re: Stark VARG
One thing to remember about "25 HP" is that you still get all that torque and watching the video he was clearly not lacking for power. ~Patrick You don't :( It was the first thing obvious on my test ride. Its a total dog at low power. At 25hp it makes less 'snap' than a stock 6hp Light Be...

I'm fairly certain my Promaster won't go up your drive w/ snow (or even that last bit of road.) On the stock crappy tires I get stuck in dewy grass on slight inclines. They have zero siping. Truck doesn't have a bed on it at the moment.

Re: Stark VARG
Didnt they do the same thing to Alta (back when that was a thing) for MX? Whats the deal? Yes. Likely just E haters. Lots of money by the big manufs in the sport and they don't want to be outclassed. Now, it appears they like to stand behind the insurance issue to deflect blame. AFAIK E vehicles ar...

Re: Stark VARG
FWIW, I think the battery they used is both overpriced and a waste w/ their setup. The stock battery would do everything they are doing (and it did in the other bike.) They didn't make an apples/apples comparison. Even if you do include a 2nd battery, you still have the original. The range w/ swappi...

Re: Stark VARG
New video from ECR comparing the UltraBee vs Varg. Some pretty interesting insights. The hill climb about midway though is backing up my feelings. UB was easy and they struggled on the Varg. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=xIel7GN6Ezc I'm honestly thinking about passing on the Varg whn they finally ge...
