Re: Trials stuff

Video please.. Yeah! I can't wait to see him balance his KTM500. I'm thinking w/ the more damped forks on an enduro there is likely no way he can just use his body to lift the front wheel and will have to start w/ it elevated pretty good. Hes a little shorter and a good 30#+ lighter than me so his ...

Re: Trials stuff

I get the not moving/just step off part. But it only takes a small misstep/slip to fall on your butt and completely let go of the bike. My friend who suggested it is going to try it w/ a big enduro bike as thats all hes got. It be nice not to tear up the bike if things go wrong.

Re: Trials stuff

Have a go with your GS. I think we're going to need a bigger pallet... :killingme: I shared the idea w/ some friends. One thought to tie the front wheel to a tree or something with enough slack so when the bike goes too far over-center it doesn't fall on you and bust the bar/controls up.

Re: MD stay at home defined by the Gov's assistant Ricci

SCOTUS has allowed infringement on rights for certain circumstances. The classic example is you can't yell "fire" in a crowded theater. I suspect they would support limited restriction on free movement in a case like this. That 1919 ruling was (partially) overturned later. Incidentally, the case ac...

Re: This guy shouldn't ride alone

Bring the Bimmer to the farm and we can use it to check distance between trees on the loop. My friend in VA says some places to ride down there have the typical posts at trailheads in the ground to only allow motorcycles. They have little protrusions at the bottom wide enough to only allow a moto t...

KTM weights (actual)

Ok, I'm an engineer and like numbers. Having recently bought a new 500 EXC, I threw it up on my race car corner balance scales. This led to putting the other bikes on there too. Figured others might be interested in my non-riding/winter boredom, so here are the numbers and notes: 2017 KTM 150 XC-W 2...

Re: Clake on "sale" (AUD vs USD)

Not yet. They had to wait on a pistons from Magura and were delayed. They all shipped together on the 26th though and tracking shows they are currently still on a boat/plane somewhere.

fortunately, liquor stores in MD are essential services  As have gun stores and ranges. Maybe AGC will open back up. They closed down my RC flying field though. :censored: Will have to put the big stuff away and fly the UMX stuff at the house or the school field around the block.

Re: What did you work on today?

When I get a better table saw, it will be a Saw Stop. *F* SawStop w/ a rusty auger bit. No argument that it works and is safer but...... owner tried to get the CPSC to legislate his solution into a legal monopoly. When that didn't work he pushed for the companies that didn't license his tech (which...
