Re: Good Day in the Woods
I'm not sure what sprocket Sam is running on there but with that 16" rear wheel it looks like 200 teeth :) Would give DaveJ's LightBee sprocket a run for its money! I'm sure it has plenty of torque even in eco mode. Good to know. I did notice it was a large sprocket but I thought it was stock ...

Re: Good Day in the Woods
I still need to saw out one or two more logs. But Im happy with the newest section of trail. Matt helped and laid out quite a bit of this. Several spots on this trail we were able to have an easy line and a challenge line real close to each other. IMG_3056.jpeg (As usual the pic looks like nothing…)...

Re: Good Day in the Woods
Tomorrow is supposed to be rainy. I managed to move my schedule around and come up to Farm for a few hours. My forks are still out for service so Sam was nice enough to give me his Ultra Bee for the day. Super fun bike. Im still recovering so I took it easy and left it in Eco almost the whole time. ...

Re: Stark VARG
[Edit: A precursor to the below. My reference to Stephen is because I respect his opinion and was concerned about the possibility of spending over $12k on something that had no prayer of meeting my needs. So I was truly thankful to get this opportunity to get plenty of seat time to form my own, inf...

Re: Stark VARG
Arctic Leopard E-XE 880. Lighter than a KTM gas bike and bigger battery than the Varg. WTF? This wasn't even on my radar. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=x22S8aedmXs CCW says there are at least 5 more electrics coming out in 2024. Including an Arctic Leopard that is more of an UltraBee competitor. Ne...

The new section of trail is a whole mile long. With the other new section thats TWO miles of new trail!
I appreciate everyone who has come out to help on either trail.

Re: “Hoping for No Snow” TrailWork Party, 3/2/24
Father and son riding together. His teenager is a decent rider but the kick only 250F mx bike wore him down. The hard suspension and slick roots/logs took their toll.

Was a rough day to be a new guy. Off angle sticks/branches/logs were like ice. But Colton did fine in slick conditions.

There is a go around. But this is the main trail according to Matt, right up a creek bed.
