I reported something the other day and liked the 'I don't need a DAMN reason' for why I was reporting the post

I believe you get a transferable registration, which is used in lieu of a title. You would use that to transfer it to your name and get a title from your DMV.

I saw some folks were seeing under 2 week turn around time on the SD plates. The title itself takes a little more time to come in. Another route if you can find one is buy a titled frame and swap everything over to it. I have one for my KX125 as it was really cheap and a lot less headache than deali...

Here is the thread on the SD plate/title. Some guys are getting them even without a title/mso or BOS (which I think requires an additional form)
