Re: Shade / Bald Eagle (7-mountains)

I have ridden both so I can offer that it just depends on what you are looking for. I was only at AOAA once. We couldn't find any single track. The place is really for quads and even jeeps. That's why I was only there once... RAC has plenty of quad stuff as well, but there is also lots of good sing...

This looks pretty close to where we rode at AOAA for a couple days this fall. Any thoughts on which is better riding?

Re: Getting ready for dual sporting

I've got d D606 front and a Motoz Tractionator GPS rear on the 1090. They're both at 38 PSI, but I'll experiment with slightly lower pressures at some point. It has tubeless wheels despite having spokes. My 1200GS has tubeless spoked wheels as well. I've got Michelin Wilds on it presently and for m...

Re: WTB: CRF110 or similar sized kid's bike

I bought a TTR110 for my kid this past summer. 4 speed auto clutch, rock solid reliable. I picked up one, several years old but great condition for $1,200.

Re: Getting ready for dual sporting

Now I just have to figure out tire pressures for dual sporting. My friend and I are on the MT-21/D606 combo and running about 16 psi for trail rides. He's got rim locks in his and I think rightfully decided that any lower might risk some rim damage or pinches. I've got the Tubliss system in mine (o...

Re: MotoMorini ADV bike

I couldn't find where they said how much it would weigh. If that number was a good thing it seems like it would have been in the press release.

Re: Mountain Ridge 10/18, 10/19, and 10/20

We hauled the bikes up to Bedford Thursday night and got out to the park at 9a Friday when they opened. We explored more than half the trails there and I think this place holds a lot more potential for getting our kids started out on dirt bikes. https://photos.smugmug.com/Motorcycles/Dual-Sport-Ride...

Thanks Bruce.

We're always looking for someplace to take the kids to ride.

Re: Riding Michaux

Yep, anytime I see an open gate in michaux I ride it! My dad used too say that sometimes it's easier too ask for forgiveness than for permission. I had a hunter yell at me one time and said some things, I just politely waved and tried really hard to keep off the throttle :roost: I'll just never und...
