Re: Stark VARG
That Arctic Leopard is neat. And it comes stock with an electronic "clutch!" Too bad they didn't do the side-by-side comparison with the Stark Varg like they did with the other bikes and instead just said "have you ridden the Varg on a trail or just MX?" then mumbled "plus t...

Re: Stark VARG
[Edit: A precursor to the below. My reference to Stephen is because I respect his opinion and was concerned about the possibility of spending over $12k on something that had no prayer of meeting my needs. So I was truly thankful to get this opportunity to get plenty of seat time to form my own, info...

Re: Stark VARG
You must be in the "convince myself I don't really want a Varg" forums because that's counter to everything I see in the three forums I'm in and the videos I just watched. :) I will say that it did look doggish in the MX track portion (super deep, sloppy mud), but that section sucks (liter...

Re: Stark VARG
WOAH! So I found a link to a Stark Varg doing a harescramble that looked promising for me doing the Hangover. But then I found a Stark Varg *DOING* the Hangover Hare Scramble! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQWFdP2y4_8 This is the the 2024 Hangover Hare Scramble at Wicomico Motorsports Park on Janu...

Re: Stark VARG
More real-world reviews. This is looking great for FRO, etc. 32 miles, avg 12 mph, with hills and technical single track. "First ride report and range test today at Iron Mountain Park in north GA. This was a mix of fairly technical single track with plenty of hills along with some of the more o...

Re: Stark VARG
why not group people by qualifying times? Then have a penalty for sandbaggers who race faster than their qualifying time I would like that a lot. Except this is only feasible for motocross. I've had races where I would have had a better finishing position in B than in C because of all of the sandba...

Re: More Legislative Updates
No farther than Tomahawk MX, which I thought you were talking about in the other thread but apologies if that wasn't you. Closer than Mountain Ridge, which I recommend you check out.

Re: Stark VARG
This is literally why they have Open classes. I was hoping to run mine in C-Open, or as that article said, an age-based class. Any argument that they would outperform other bikes in Open would be without merit, as the obvious answer would be "then go buy or build something to be competitive&quo...

Re: Eldersburg dirt bike
I've been meaning to get over to Tomahawk for a while now. My cabin is in the same town. It's just a matter of throwing my bike on the back of the truck when I go there, which should be easier as the work on the cabin is winding down. I'll make it a point to go to tomahawk this summer. I don't have ...

OTA update to increase efficiency and expand voltage limits and therefore increase range.
