Re: Local wheel builders?

I know Fredericktown Yamaha will do wheel lacing. I can't remember what they charged, but East Coast Wheels was a lot cheaper, but they sort of take forever.

Re: Which bike if you could only have one? The perfect fleet?

If only one bike. Thats sort of what my DR was for a while. Sort of good, cheap, reliable all arounder w/ 2 wheelsets. The new KTM 690 smc/enduro looks pretty sweet. That would be a possibility. Three bikes. Still take the DR650 (w/ mods) or the 690smc. Would like a nice sporttouring type bike, BMW ...

Re: Gambrills State Forest Ride

When going down Gambril Park rd, I usually take a right on Hamburg Rd. Its a couple miles Deleture (spelling?), and then a right off that road gets you into the dirtroads.

The heated grips would definently be sweet. (I'm not joking. If I wasn't so lazy, my DR would have them.)

Re: Frederick dualsport/motard ride, 4/6

Good ride today. Nice to meet Scott and Lou. Ken, a pleasure as usual. I think we made the best of the weather. The slick clay dirt roads were interesting. The pavement did have some dry spots. Sorry I got going into a groove there, we should have stopped for some pics on the scenic one lane bridges...

Re: Frederick dualsport/motard ride, 4/6

Just got home so I can do 1045. I was sort of voting for a 2 hour delay for the roads to dry.
I'll check back here in 15- 20 minutes. If I here nothing, I'll see you guys at 1045.
