Oh, yeah. The State of Maryland requires notarization of titles. What a pain in the butt. I can only think it is so private sales are such a hassle people trade vehicles in to dealerships instead. Yeah, I'm still not getting this. I have a bike... I mean "my friend" has a bike in "his" garage that still has the title in the previous owner's name and all selling info is blank except for his signature. If "he" was to sell the bike, he would just hand over the title...
