I have been having problems with the server running out of resources and giving errors. It is better but I'm still getting some periodically. Please report any you get to me at ken@kyler.com.

Re: Green Ridge 6/29

Yeah, we kinda got out of sequence. TJ is like any kid, hot and cold. After the first lap he just wanted to sit in the truck, I convinced him to to do the lower half and after we did that he was ready for another lap. But I was done in, those rocks are not fun. I did most of my previous riding down ...

Yep. I should hit the park office around 9-930, get sticker and head up to the parking lot. Bringing Jr and his KX.

I gotta break in this new-to-me old DR.

Re: Green Ridge 6/29

I need a sticker it's an off road bike. As of now I'll shoot for being there around 9-10 am. I still need to do a few maintenance items to both bikes, hopefully I'll get everything done. If not, looks like we'll hit the pasture again. Weather looks...well, looks like summer weather. I imagine dust w...

Re: Green Ridge 6/29

Maybe. I do need a sticker for the DR so Sunday wouldn't work. I've gotta check with Jr.

The independent shop owner/mechanic/old enduro racer dood that I go to can kick it with his left leg in one shot. He also tuned it, cleaned it, etc after I bought it.

It's all me.

Thanks.

Re: Green Ridge 6/29

Possible. I'll try to convince my son it's not too far to drive.

We wouldn't be much company for a good rider. I'm old and slow and it would be a shake down run for my new to me DR.

Re: kicking a thumper

Thanks guys. It has a decomp lever and I think I'm figuring out the sequence for this bike. I think I just need to get the lever back up to the top before I kick. My right leg is already getting bigger than my left. We were riding last night and sometimes I'd get it right, up/down/up/down... kick......

kicking a thumper

Since I feel like I'm among friends here I will dare to ask HTF do you kick start a four stroke? I picked up a 91 Dr 250. I figured one KLR crash at GR was enough. I can get it going easy enough, even in flip flops. That was the ultimate test. I'm still missing something, where am I trying to get th...
