Re: Random Thoughts

I think a "Feeble Kneeble Award" is in order for somebody who either backflips or falls off the back of the bike while climbing a hill. What say the rest of you? I do that  Didn't you have an amazing flip off the back right at the end of a nasty hillclimb out at Granville's? Someon...

Re: 1/1 Offroad anyone?

I could use lots of practice w/ log hopping.
BoomBoom, what time are you getting started? I probably have to pack up and head home by 1500-1530.

1/1 Offroad anyone?

My KTM has been sitting in the shed unused for too long. This Saturday w/ the weather being so nice I was going to pull it out and hit a few of the local dirtroads with it. BUT, if anyone wants to go offroading, I could easily be talked into heading out to Greenridge for an easy ride, or Taskers for...

Re: Howdee! I'm new to the forum.

Im not saying its cheap, but look into picking up a second set of wheels. Quite a few of us have our offroad/knobby wheels and our street/dualsport set.

The other option is to get a smaller/lighter "real" dirtbike for the offroad, as Ken mentioned.

 I must not have ridden this yet...no beach ball sized boulders? :lol2:

When we were there Ken, we only took the easy part out. On the way back we did the "option" w/ boulders.

Re: Howdee! I'm new to the forum.

[I have crash bars. I've added a lot of crash protection and a few other useful farkles based on my experience and research. Do all the rides require knobby tires? . Its good you already have some crashbars. No, not all the rides require knobbies. When you see rides posted up, feel free to ask ques...

Re: Howdee! I'm new to the forum.

Don't worry pretty much everyone gets their bike/manufacturer made fun at some point, (or all the time...).

You probably don't want to do any harescrambles w/ that bike, but w/ some knobbies and crash bars you should still be able to come on alot of fun rides.
