Re: Handlebars

Last year I replaced stock steel bars with aluminum 7/8" Tag X5 bars (they were $25 on sale). Was a hassle getting the acerbis hand guards moved over, but I eventually managed. Seems to me from an engineering standpoint that these fat-style handlebars without crossbars would have even less vibr...

Re: Handlebars

"Good" aluminum bars to reduce vibration come in both 7/8" and 1-1/8". Or should I only be looking at 1-1/8" bars without crossbrace? Is there something special in the design of BRP clamps to inhibit vibrations, or does that just come from quality manufacturing and beefy mass?

Handlebars

What do you guys think about handlebars and this whole vibration/fatigue thing? (especially given my old KDX bike) Would it make a difference going to something like a Mika pro 7/8" bar that claims to allow more flex and reduce fatigue? Would it be bigger benefit and worth the hassle going up t...

Re: 2018 ECEA Schedule

Is that the number that goes on your bike? Do people still put numbers on bikes?

Re: 2018 ECEA Schedule

So I joined the AMA and then did the on-line ECEA 2018 registration thing, and paid my $10. I can see my name appear. But it does not show an ECEA# next to my name. How do I get that number?

Re: 2018 ECEA Schedule

I am not going to be ready by Greenbriar in March. Need more seat time. Any other easy beginner enduros on the schedule you would recommend?

Re: 2018 ECEA Schedule

I think this is the year I will try my first ever enduro! No time keeping concerns, just want to see if I can go the sixty miles or so without some crippling injury. Trying to check out the schedule and look at YouTube videos to see how difficult. Is the Delaware Enduro a good/easy one to start with...

Re: Savage River Trail Progress

What's with all the rocks? Why not a smooth dirt trail on the side of all that mess, where parents and kids can ride dirt bikes on easy trails winding through the woods. Its like every track has to be from a Nitro Circus video!

Re: Savage River Trail Progress

So with the parking and sticker provisions as spelled out above, is the Savage River Trail officially open now? Have you guys been riding it? On the DNR page there are lots of trails listed, but very few mention ORV at all. Which is the new dirt bike friendly trail you speak of? http://dnr.maryland....
