Howdy, nother Frederick bike here. That was a good post on ADVrider. Nice job tackling Greenridge after a fresh rain on the motard.

I was gonna try for a street/dirt road ride this coming weekend. Gonna try to preride the route Mike gave for Ken and I. Will be good for the supermoto.

Ya, I'm swapping my wheels out in the morning. I prefer the motard tires much more in the dirt then the knobbies on the pavement.

My knobbies generally only go on for Greenridge type stuff.

Yeah, might be alittle much for a "lapfest". But I'm usually up to hitting all the dirtroads around Gambrill/Frederick Watershed area whenever.
I'll have to look at a map and check out Mike's route, knowing him it should be pretty good.

I'm trying to do another Monday ride if you are available. I'm trying to talk a guy from work into going w/ me, (he has some giant quad), but he is giving me the maybe thing. So I think that means he is gonna call me Sunday night saying he is out.

Panther, (incase you are looking at a map or something), I don't believe any of those dirtroads are actually in Gambril State Park. However take Gambril Park Road into the Frederick County (or city?) Watershed area. That is where most of the dirtroads are, including that nice creek crossing.

Well Chris, the upper Mertens lot is a lot closer than the Ranger Station, if you have to push your bike or ride pillion.
