Re: Anyone know anyone to run Dirt/Flat track events?

Need to speak with Richard Riley of Fredericktown Yamaha. He is the promoter of the Barbara Fritchie Classic, and knows the promotions group for the other area flat track races. He has said in the past that they are always looking for new venues. If you can provide some contact information, I will ...

Re: Anyone know anyone to run Dirt/Flat track events?

I can't help with the racing promotion but how did you like Supercamp? Was Chris Carr there too, he is amazing? I need to go back again to re-learn everything I am sure I have forgotten.... Supercamp was great. A lot of great instruction, and mega fun! Chris Carr was not there. But a younger pro Mo...

Anyone know anyone to run Dirt/Flat track events?

I just returned from a weekend riding camp held at the Delaware State Fairgrounds. During the clinic it was made known to me that the equine business at the Quillen Arena has been waning in the past few years and that the property management group is very very receptive to someone with motorsports p...

Re: Kentucky Adventure Trail (KAT) June 19-25, 2017

What kind of tires is everyone thinking of running? I read the report calling for knobbies and stating there is a lot of mud but there is also roughly 65% pavement. I'm not sure what DOT tire will last 900 miles and still perform in mud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk You're already plated--who...

Re: Street legal-ing an "off-road" moto in state of MD

I'm sorry you're having a hard time with the title. Not that I needed it but this does reinforce my opinion of keeping my shit tagged in Florida. Speaking if which, I do still have the Florida tag that was on that bike.... No sweat brother! I knew that the bike having been street titled previously ...

Re: Street legal-ing an "off-road" moto in state of MD

Interesting. I didnt know you COULD mail all that stuff in. Unless MD just changed how they are doing things. Like maybe NOW they are doing a VIN edit. More reason to go get a EuroTrash bike. Oh yeah...when you are not in any rush, and don't want to stand around MVA for hours you can certainly mail...

Re: Street legal-ing an "off-road" moto in state of MD

May want to try visiting either the Frederick or Hagerstown MVA in person to see if they will process the title. If they say no, you may be able to at least have a discussion as to why. I think that one of the letters in the VIN can identify a bike as off-road only. Also as you mentioned, maybe wal...

Re: Street legal-ing an "off-road" moto in state of MD

once you have a street legal title from another state, it is simple to reregister in MD. I also thought that. Not so. OK--So the WR450 has a Florida title, which in no way shape or form implies "off-road only", "dirtbike", "closed course"...etc All it says is "Mot...
