Re: Stark VARG

Am I hearing 30+ miles of real trail riding? Thats pretty good for most people’s needs. 50+ would be better but it sounds like we’ll get there sooner or later Yes, people have been getting mid-30s of real riding on the Varg which makes sense based on the battery size. Terrain makes a big difference...

Re: Stark VARG

Saw a post of someone who tried to do an enduro on a Stark Varg, riding B40 class. He made it 62 miles before he ran out of juice and unfortunately didn't finish, but that's at a B pace, so that's still pretty awesome. He did charge during the gas lunch stop, which I've heard depending on your gene...

Brown/Brushy Mar 30-31

Short notice but we are headed down to Brown/Brushy next weekend. Some of the regulars have dropped out so there are only 3 of us going now :( Any interest?

FS: TTR125LE & TTR150L

With all the spring cleaning going on, I should list my two smaller bikes. #1 2003 TTR125LE L = bigger wheels (19" front / 16" rear) w/ disc brake front wheel E = electric start The good: * This one has almost all the BBR upgrades - fork & shock springs / frame cradle / air filter. * N...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

Looks like my 64 tooth (or maybe a bit larger) I run on my Surron. Pulls my fat ass pretty much anywhere. I can do the big hill climb at Phil's but I have to do the old switch back routine 1 time. FWIW, The UB uses 520 chain so the sprockets have less teeth for the same diameter. My orig joking asi...

Re: Home made 6 speed electirc dirtbike

Thats a pretty cool way to drop a motor into a frame w/o mods. Can appreciate the engineering and work. I see he left the kick starter on :) But gears are pretty much pointless on most AC motors and he'll take an efficiency hit w/ all those constant mesh gears. Just pick a slightly bigger motor and/...

Re: Good Day in the Woods

I'm not sure what sprocket Sam is running on there but with that 16" rear wheel it looks like 200 teeth :) Would give DaveJ's LightBee sprocket a run for its money! I'm sure it has plenty of torque even in eco mode.
