You're right, there just aren't any options closer.

I have still never been to AOAA. I'd like to give it a try

More reasons to own a van (or enclosed trailer)


Do what you can to make it hard/harder for thieves to steal your stuff.
Have your bikes insured for theft too

Thanks for giving us a little ride report. I'm glad the Iron Mountain section turned out to be really cool. I definitely want to do that if I do this trip (or a version of it)

We had a nice ride. Did a decent loop up into Michaux, went about as far north as the big atv lot. Saw several groups on horseback. Every car we got stuck behind politely waved us by (on the dirt roads at least). We even did a few easier trails at the Farm. Wes had to test his daughter’s KLX140G. Ot...

I'd still like to a ride some trails on the property. But Wes has spoken, so there will be a fun dualsport ride over to Michaux.
