DAMN Riders - No rules, Just ride!

Very cool. See you there. I'll be camping overnight on Friday even though I'm only 25 minutes away. Look for the red KLR with a natural IMS tank.

I'm doing a KLX650 front end on my KLR250. Tracking numbers show that everything should be here by Wednesday. That means I'll have Wednesday and Thursday to put it back together before returning to work on Friday and probably Saturday as well.

My participation in this event is largely dependent on whether or not I get my bike back together. I decided to start doing a front end swap a couple days ago without all of the parts in the garage...

They pop up on ADV quite often, usually in the $4k range for a reasonably used unit for a little more for a pretty new one.

Not really an off-road event, but more oriented towards dual sport bikes. 100 spots total, starting to fill up. Camping at The Cove and rides spread out from there. Lots of prizes.

Jed I'm with ya, that hill was a bitch, lotsa guys were having problems when Sam and I got there. Waited for a while and saw a guy down in the woods to the left with a KLR (leaned against a tree). He was kinda watching everyone, looked pissed with hands on hips, I figured he was having bike trouble...

Holy crap, the hill on option 10! I'm new to dirt riding and all, but there was a huge difference between the C's I rode all day and the B Option 10. The rest of that option was a cake walk, but that hill kicked my ass. I stalled 4x going up and that little KLR250 hated kicking back over after stall...

As of right now, it looks like Gene, myself, and my buddy are going to arrive around 4 PM on Saturday. That's enough time to setup camp and go for a ride before dark.
