Thanks. Looks like Phoo's spot for Sat was already booked for Fri night so they gave me C-16. Apparently there is power (RV hookups) in that spot in the field now. Can use to charge the bikes. I should have put A/C in the van and gone more during the summer :)

Kiddo and I should be there Fri/Sat at a minimum. Not sure if the wife is coming yet or not. What camp spot are you guys in Skinny J? Phoo said he had the spot reserved beside you for Sat night. I'll try to get it for Fri night.

The new KTM 2T bikes are TBI vs TPI. Don't know why folks don't expect first year teething issues - just like they had w/ TPI. KTM definitely uses its customers as guinea pigs.

Electrics can't really replace gas bikes yet (nor in the foreseeable future.) Range will continue to be an issue. They can be a fun 2nd bike though! The one exception IMO might be the Mechatecno Dragonfly electric trials bike. Looks like it might even be better than gas. Range isn't typ a big issue ...

That is the one shortcoming of Ebikes is slow speed ability to modulate the power. I am sure they are getting there but yeah, sometimes you have to be ready when you whack it. Stephen have you researched the new offerings from EM having a clutch and overall batt range? They offer that adventure based model (still trials platform).
