Re: Snow
I've got a set of "remanufactured" OEM wheels coming for the truck. A set of snow tires will be going on them. Any reason to buy anything but blizzaks? I can get them from Sam's club for a decent price. I have never had winter tires before...

Re: What did you work on today?
As my legs are pretty long for my height I would look even weirder than I do already if I used leg stretchers. Hmm, good idea. I was eyeballing the fancy tailgates that GM has now with the built in steps... They don't seem to be too popular an option though. I bought a tailgate ladder befor...

Re: What did you work on today?
Ah, nice. I thought about lowering my truck. I don't know if you did it for style or what but these things are so dang tall now. It was easy to load and unload the 87 chevy pickup I had but I need a stool for the 17 ram (which is the lowest available model from them). Yes, I'm short but they are ove...

Re: Amazon guy is screwing with me
I think the problem is that amazon makes their entire workday miserable and screws with them so much it makes it difficult for them to care (I've talked to a couple drivers). I doubt too many customers are very nice to them either. Putting the package under your sign probably gives them a tiny bit o...

Re: Stark VARG
One thing I've come to like about the electrics is the lack of maintenance. I really don't like working on stuff that much so eliminating a lot of that would be cool (I recognize that a lot of you are tinkerers so you're tinkering with the electrics too but it's optional, more than required). I'm le...

They broke the link since yesterday. :( I can see the pic of the dirt bike on the main page but it's giving a 404 error.

FREE: Heidenau K73 120/70-17
I've got a practically new (still has the nubs) Heidenau K73 120/70-17 that I just pulled off. Free for the taking. It's a supermoto model marked "rain" so it has some tread to it. I have decided against using the soft tires as I mostly commute. These things have no traction when cold and ...

Any case if you find yourself on two wheels, half way thru a scenic byway from Antietam to Harpers Ferry in the middle of showers lol….first place you run into for cover is the Guide House Grille, by chance for us. If you haven’t tried they have Decent prices and food/ drink was certainly hitting t...
