Any newbies out there that need help on roll charts?
I'm working on a Frederick County dual-sport ride for this spring and will be making roll charts for the new guys. The Shenandoah 500, Pine Barrons 500 and Michaux all use one.

That would really be useful if I had a chart box
Re: Roll Charts
They are pretty cheap. You don't need the fancy kind they use in the Dakar.chasbo wrote:That would really be useful if I had a chart box

Since I've never actually used a roll chart, then yes, I guess I could use some help/tips. Installed a holder on my Cagiva in anticipation of doing some organized events way back, but never did.BTW, what's wrong with GPS and waypoints?
What's wrong with GPS? Simply that I don't feel like buying a piece of (most likely Chinese made) technology that will likely be "obsolete" by time I start using it, will need to almost constantly be updated, needs a powersource, most are difficult to see while riding and distract you from safe operation of the bike. Not to mention the purchase price for a good one in the first place. Just my opinion...
