You should look at my Husaberg 390 in the forsale section. You will not find a better bike around. Ask Boom Boom

If Dad hasn't done the 3x3 mod to the DRz yet then do it. Cheap easy and much better throttle response. If you can find a good 'E' exhaust then do that also. For woods riding go with 14/47 and for road use 14/44. As far as the weight....yes it's a pig but you get used to it. Just keep the rubber side down and you'll be OK.

Or buy that Hussy.

FWIW I never considered a WR because of the seat height...I have short legs :lol2:
Not a problem for you.
Also the DRZ is much lighter.....than my KLR was :deal:

The WR has a monster seat height. I can't flat foot both sides at the same time when it has dirt wheels.

You should buy another DRZ. That way if you do the tat with your dad, you only need to carry parts for 1 model bike. :poser:

The WR250R has a rether LOW seat height and is somewhat adjustable due to the design of the rear suspension. Your dad would be WAY better of on it than on his DRZ. Maybe you can get him one and then take his DRZ for yours?

Sam, that's actually not a bad line of thinking. Anything easier for him to pick up would be a good thing.

Thanks,

Patrick, I'll bet that the DRZ is about the same weight as the WR400. Newer WR250 with aluminum frame is lighter.
