Re: New 2015 Yamaha WR250
I saw they've got a "cross country" 250 coming out too. Maybe that'll be this bike but without the lights?
Found it, info on wr250f and yz250fx:

I'd like to see the japanese bikes come with a certificate of origin that doesn't say, "not road worthy", so it'd be as easy to plate them as it is for the orange bikes.

You might be on to something that could explain the orange popularityMarylander wrote:I'd like to see the japanese bikes come with a certificate of origin that doesn't say, "not road worthy", so it'd be as easy to plate them as it is for the orange bikes.

Re: New 2015 Yamaha WR250
That could finally get me on an orange bike too, at least eventually. Years ago I plated my klx300. It was such a hassle and so hit or miss in the MVAs. If memory serves I was able to get the plate at the 3rd MVA I went to. I had taken a day of leave to get it done. Not really that bad in the end but I could have been denied at the 3rd one too... The bike had passed inspection no problem (baja designs kit, DOT tires, etc).Bucho wrote:That is the main reason I bought a KTM.

I think the only small dirt type KTMs that don't come with the "off road only" type language on the title these days are the 4 strokes like the 350.
