I've got this on the calendar and plan to be there early on saturday. I've been wanting to check out the 390 Duke.

It's gonna be a line waiting on the 390s, I guess. I'm really curious about them, but I know where one is, I can demo without supervision or a train. 690 Duke is probably closer to my weight class, and a 1290 stuporDuke would be a whole lot of fun, if i only had a truck to haul the funds...

...to pay bail.

Yep, I'm planning to be there early enough to be in the first wave on the 390. I actually think I'd be more likely to have legal issues on the 390 than on the 1290. I used to do more stupid stuff on my hawk gt than I do on my cbr1000rr and the 390 is even more likely to 'encourage' me to do the stupid things so it's so little (wheelies, hopping curbs, sliding, etc). Plus it's so inexpensive. That said, I'm not wanting to buy another bike right now but we'll see how I feel after riding it. ;)

I didn't see you there, Ken. Was that your fz?

I had a good time. Tried out the Duke 390 and Duke 690. I could see buying a 390 to have a 'toy'. I would have tried the 690 Enduro too but I'm too short to get it off the sidestand, at least with the suspension adjusted as it was. ;) I'm half tempted to go back tomorrow morning with my dirt boots, which have a thicker sole than the boots I had on today.

I got there around 10. By the time I got to the signup station, they were on ride 6 which would have been close to 1:00. I bagged it and went for a ride.
