does anyone have any experience with these electric trials bikes? This might be the ticket for use on the lot I bought.

Since Torrot just purchased Gas Gas I would expect to see many more options for electric motorcycles in the near future.

Re: Electric Trials Bike
It's going to be a lot easier for me to justify an electric commuter bike than an electric off road bike. The battery tech isn't ready for my commute though. More realistically I'll just be on the look out for an old gas powered trials bike to get started on. I'm hoping I can do that next year. It sure would be cool to learn trials, improve my technique in general, in my back yard without annoying the neighbors though.

Re: Electric Trials Bike
Yeah, I've been following street legal electric bike development. The current electric bikes won't get me to work and back home and I am not allowed to charge up at work. If I was willing to take a back roads route to the office I could maybe do it now but that would add a lot of time.Kyler wrote:Zero makes an electric DS and sumo bike

I love the idea of an electric trials and/or dirtbike. The stealth riding applications would be awesome.
My kid rides his electric OSET bike around the field at the end of our street and in the nearby school field and nobody seems to have a problem with it.
