Three Springs Enduro - August 7th 2016

Post by chuck marler »

And a YOUTH enduro for the grandkids on Saturday August 6th.

The pool is open and free for competitors all day and night. Spaghetti dinner on Saturday night at the fire hall. Fun trails, roots, off camber hills, and some rocks. Road sections to connect everything together, so put your tags and lights on, but you don't have to do timekeeping and burn checks this year. All start controls. Camping is next to the fire hall.

All information, including the Entry form , Information flyer, keytimes, directions, spectator sheets, confirmation sheets, rollchart and results will be posted on the web at http://www.gmer.us/Enduro/enduro.htm by August 4th.

Pre-entry mail in form has been posted:

Flyer with information and keytimes has been posted:
http://www.gmer.us/Enduro/GREEN_MARBLE_ ... YER_16.pdf

Gas station & 2 restaurants 1 blk from fire hall. Ice cream parlor across the street (in the convenience store/gas station) Lodging Downes Motel 29195 Great Cove Road Ft Littleton , 717-987-3116; Holiday Inn Express 16503 Lincoln Hwy, Breezewood, PA 8147357666 and the Iron Bridge bed and breakfast may have a room available, but I don't have the number.

Everything the new enduro rider could need is at gmer.us
well, almost everything you need except talent, maybe some boots, guts, determination, band-aids, and duct tape.
Some things you are born with, some you earn, the rest you go to CVS and home depot to buy.

We will reserve a special spot back by the bushes next to the train tracks for DAMN riders parking.

Ugh, I so wish I didn't have a points race the same weekend. Had a lot of fun at last year's event.

That's a real enduro where the bike's gotta be tagged isn't it?

It's a bit of a grey area. Not that I'd ever encourage anyone to ride illegally, but I did see more than one bike there last year with pictures of headlights and aluminum tape on number plates.

It is a great event, and we've (GMER folks) have put a lot of effort into making it perfect. Personally I've been making trips up there on a regular basis since before Spring sprung.
