Your time frame sounds good.
Go before school is out and before summer drys everything out.
You have (6) trail systems to pick from, 4 close together around the Logan area and 2 more to the east.
Of all the trail systems I like Rockhouse and Buffalo Mountain the best but that is me and I like to ride the single track.
What you need to do is establish what kind of riding and lodging you want to do. You can camp or find rooms that you can ride direct to the trail system but then you will be riding the same trail over and over to get to fresh trails and back to camp or lodging. This is nice if you want to do the camp thing and just ride different loops like at Mountain Ridge.
The other option is to stay somewhere midway between riding areas and figure on trailering to a trail head and ride from there.
I enjoy this option and find it nice to ride from one trail head into a different town for gas and food and then ride fresh trails back to your trailer. This makes it easy if you want to ride more than one trail system while at Hatfield, sort of feels like a good dual sport ride and you always have fresh trail to explore.
When I go to ride I am not interested in cooking and camping, ride till I drop and then go for a fat steak, but everyone has different views on what they enjoy.
I will tell you the single track has a number system for a reason, if you plan on riding #199 you best pack a lunch. Many places I was wishing I had my trials bike and will probably take along next time. Not for the faint of heart
