2013 DAMN Riding Schedule

I need some DAMN volunteers! We have annual events and need someone to make them happen.

Based on past experience, you can't get started soon enough with this group

Once a conscript has been found, a new thread will be made - put all discussions about that event there!

DAMN Reunion (spring time) - I've had a lot of requests to go back to Green Ridge. I've spoken with the park Superintendent and we might be able to get part of the loop opened for a weekend. This is a family friendly event. Junior volunteered to "reunite" us!

777 Ride (summer time) - this has been a hoot in the past. This is a camp and ride event. If it gets to the campground then you carried it! Well, one exception for water, food and adult beverages... HHR has agreed to a return engagement of his DAMN devilish ride!!!!

DAMN Birthday Ride at Barton - Jim/James please pick a date early so we can get a big DAMN turnout! Great DS riding in the area so don't be intimidated by the DAMN tough course at the Super Secret Barton Riding Area.

DAMN Noobs DS Ride (spring time) - I'll do this. Bucho will do the route and options. Start at JTs, wander about on easy roads, hit a local ice cream shop or Main Cup and end at JTs. Great for new riders or SOs who want to see what this is all about.

Winter Get Together (technically 2014) - usually in Jan/Feb - anyone near B'more want to run with this and take it east? Other options? If not I'll do it again and it will be here in Fredneck.

DAMN Hatfield McCoy Trails (TBD) - Ovo (and Boom Boom) are gluttons for punishment and volunteered.

DAMN Rich Lafferty School Runs about $115 @ - one day in Joisey - DAMN good time! I'm working this one.

I'll help w/ the DAMN EasySpring ride.

Can I offer an alternate route? Wont really be harder, just longer. Watershed heading north and making a loop through the southern part of Michaux. Something like that.

If you do that, two routes should be offered. Noobs don't like longer.

As an aside, on the way back from the Shenandoah 500, my dad and I went to Main Cup, the lunch stop from the DAMN / RAM DS ride a couple years ago. The day I met some of you guys in person for the first time. *sniff*

you got the route then. We can chat about a mid-point stop - either Main Cup or South Mountain Cremery, then a longer loop after that for those that want a longer ride.

I would like to see us make the Hatfield McCoy Trails trip an annual event too. I know this past spring it kind of ran into the scheduling for the DAMN Reunion. But late April worked out well for those that could made it down.
