Dates.. Note it won't be the third weekend of the month, unless we pick em before year end... Wife is in the reserves, and is usually gone, so I do man based specific thing with my son
Number of days... In the past, it's been down and back... On day two lots of folks seem to jet early. I more than understand, but it be nice to do 3 days. Ride somewhere, then ride around that area, and go home the following day... I understand that not everyone can get away, so I'd probably figure on starting on sat, so those who can come can make at least one day.. However, I work 4 tens, with mon off, so I could do a sat thru mon if anyone wants...
North or South... I have one vote from Romney's arch nemesis (big bird) To go south to the same campground. Spending an extra day would allow us to get a lot more fun roads, rt 44 outta Durbin, dolly sods, etc... One nice advantage, is there are lots of fun paved road as well if folks want to bring bigger adv bikes,or even have folks meetup on street bikes and take different routes... Also, if we get an extra day, there is a lot of good stuff a bit west of the campground we never hit at it was about as far west as we could go in one day...
First item, should be area... We don't need to check calendars for time off or number of days...
