Picking up the tag. It was cold. :poser: The water was very high, very fast, and very cold.

Dropped off the tag. I'll save you the google -- It's near Gettysburg. It's not dualsport, but I like covered bridges and did I mention it was cold? :lol2:

Well, how 'bout that...

This is the only remaining covered bridge in Adams County that is open to vehicular traffic.

While it was always referred to as the Jack's Mountain Bridge, its name was officially changed to the G. Donald McLaughlin Memorial Covered Bridge in 1998 in memory of the gentleman who spearheaded the bridges restoration campaign.

It is the only bridge in Pennsylvania that uses traffic lights to control the flow of traffic across the one lane structure.

Good Job Phoo. I though for sure that we would have to pick this up on the way out to Green Ridge in a few months as it would othewise just languish there. I can understand why you did not go for the bonus points in the middle!!

Nice work Phoo. If we can get a day above freezing where I have nothing to do, I'll try to move it. Since it is so close to Michaux...

Well, you are old. :harhar:

After further research I found it was 22 on that day so Phoo might have the record, for now.

I don't know. I think we're about even. It may have dropped lower at some of the places but I think overall it was a tossup.
