6/26, Mt Ridge!

I was hoping to find a babysitter so I could finally make a ride with you guys. Unfortunatly that didn't happen. I was at mountain ridge May 30- June 1. They had a night ride on May 31st and opened a new section on Gunnar Run. It matched the style and flow pretty well just made it a little longer. I also liked the gentel ben trail.

Several people at work are taking the afternoon off and going to a pub to watch the game. Sorry to be missing it, but I'd much rather ride!

We'll arrive around 10:30a. Longer distance and a series of missteps has made our travel time over an hour longer than expected.

Are we parking down at the tent camping spot we are usually at?

It was a good time. Lots of rocks and lots of mud. I think the section of single track was my favorite.

There are rumors of a new section of singletrack. We looked for it and people tried to lead me to it. We didnt find it. I will believe it exists when Loosescrew leads me around it for a lap.

There is really nice new section of single track I rode back in May. I could not tell you how to get to though. I sort of remember power lines new the entrance.

OFG, QOFE & Bandit arrived around noon. Got to do the older single track about 2.5 times while trying to find the newer singletrack

THEN we took the RZR out for some SERIOUS riding on Big John, Rockin Randy and a few others. We had to use the winch twice to get it off rocks so big that they got us up where all 4 wheels were spinning We used ALL the capabilities of the new bigger wheels/tires and extra ride height I added last year.

QOFE was in HEAVEN!

Thanks for having put this together. My dad had a good time, and I did, too. We found our way onto some trails that helped boost his ability level just a bit without being overwhelming.

Hopefully next time the single track assault team can find the new single track.
