You have 100k miles on a Tuono? That's a lot of miles for a naked bike, especially one that can be temperamental and I don't think has been around especially long. What year is it?

Where'd you get the idea they're temperamental? It's an Aprilia, not a Ducati. Made to be ridden.

Got out unexpectedly for a nice ride today after my daughters softball tourney was cancelled.

Had some fun there then hit a cool gravel road running along a small river

Onto a path I wasn't really supposed to be on... Too hard to pass up

...which led to a peaceful little lake with no one around

Finally, on the way home, came across this zombie magnet

Thanks Ken! I think I read somewhere that white is the most visible color to motorists, even above all the "high viz" type colors. Not sure if its even true, but its working out so far...

Bucho, sounds good! Is the DR broke down or you just don't get it out much?

I had 20K miles on my Falco (same motor) with ZERO issues. Only put 10K on my Tuono before I sold it. ROTAX motors, built to last and run like scalded dogs...................

Both. At minimum it needs the electrics sorted out (which sadly is beyond my ken), and then vavle adjustment, oil, air filter, probably a carb cleaning wouldnt hurt...

when are you bringing it over? I think I might be able to help. I completely rewired the racing sidecar. The DR can't be too much worse.

Saturday, Midget and I took a quick ride around the dirt roads at Michaux. It was cool and damp, but no dust!

Only saw two other bikes, and a lot of hunters.
