I thought it was pretty good. I enjoyed the presentation much more than I thought I would.
I really liked the speaker, much more so than I was expecting. I was expecting it to be more of a lecture about do this don't do that, so on and so forth, but it was really more of an inspirational thing for me.

ADVMoto Rally Sept 26-28
Re: ADVMoto Rally Sept 26-28
I arrived around 11am. I had to work until 6am then went and shot off a few rounds before I rode out. Overall the people running it were all really into adv riding and are looking for honest feedback from their first ralley.
I ended up riding with the newbies which was interesting. I am not used to going15mph on gravel. Not that I am fast or anything but I could have going at least 17mph.

I also had a good time, thanks to Allen from DSA for the guided, tour! I also got there a tad late.(missed drivers meeting & the huge crowd that left, just as I pulled in, which now looking back, was a blessing! because of dusty roads & getting back in time for chow)
Nice to have finally meet Bonehead & Thetable! & not sure who is phather of phoo, & juddspaintballs was? I had plenty for breakfast, even thirds! Just kidding!

I'm sure Phoo wanted to go faster than I was going on gravel too. I'm more or less a newbie as well and I was running a stock suspended and geared KLR650 with crappy tires. I rarely got out of 2nd gear with stock gearing, which I guess was probably around 20 mph?

It was great to see a bunch of you guys again and meet and ride with Bork.
My ride highlight was looking threw my mirror on a really nice twisty mountain road and see Bork's smile as I pulled away from him up hill on my KLR
Had a great time as always
