March 14 ride cancelled

Post by juddspaintballs »

***RIDE CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER*** AGAIN!

Dr. gave me the all clear to use my pinky again. It doesn't move much in any normal direction yet and hurts like crap to try to move, but physical therapy starts tomorrow.

At any rate, I'm going back to work next week. I need to work lots of OT to make up for lost time off, but it looks like I'm going to definitely be off of work on March 7th.

Who wants to ride and where? I have a brand new Mountain Hybrid to break in, and I'm not running screws through it just to ride!

I'm also available some during the week too

I'm off on March 7th as well. You pick the place and I'll meetcha there! I would suggest Shade, since that is where you had your mishap but it might still be ice spike weather there then.
F*** work.

I did like Shade. If the cold sticks around like it has been, it will probably still be frozen in two weeks.

I'll pick a place as we get closer and can see the weather.

I'd suggest, Florida, perhaps that's just because that's where I'll be.

Going to take some serious warming before you see anything that resembles dirt or rock at Shade.
However once it warms some and the snow becomes heavy Shade can be very fun to ride.

I hope to have the husky ready for a shake down run by then. I`m in need of a good day of riding.

Well, it's a little closer.

What do you think? Should we try Shade Mountain (which I'm sure is and still will be frozen) or cave and go to the Cove? It looks like 40's Sunday/Monday around here, so the Cove should be thawed out a good bit.

I do have a hankering to go back to Shade Mountain. I'm not sure about the snow/ice though.

Definite maybe here. I need to stop being so lazy and finally put in the fork oil I bought months ago...
