Easter Ride

Alright, screw it, bike is loaded, might as well ride, you know, if I can get out of bed in the morning.

Marylander, I'll try to remember to throw the spare wheel in the truck, incase you want to use it.

Never mind, I don't know why it was stuck in my head that way, but you aren't riding orange, I got nothing for you.

That thing is much too nice for what I plan for it. Plus I want/need a 200 anyway.

I won't be riding tomorrow. Want to enjoy a weekend of sleeping in and since I have my truck in the garage and the engine out, my husky is kind of stuck in a corner :lol2:

Five of us made it out to play a bit in the rocks at the Cove.

My friend Steve made a lap around the blue and the red trail. Nice job for a relative noobie.

I got to go a lap on the blue trail w/ Sam's FreeRide. Very nice bike, though I didn't quite get the hang of it on my first try up the blue hill. I looped the bike right at the top. A second go, standing w/ weight much further forward and it was much easier. Walked right up!

Later in the day we had just made it to the top of the tough hill on the blue trail. We see a rider on a MX bike ride up and stall/stop at the bottom of the hill. I pointed out the better lines up to him.
He asked if there was anything easier than the red trail. He turned around when I told him there wasn't.

Thanks for setting it up. I'm slowly meeting all the DAMN folks...

I checked out early but had enough fun to get me by. Hopefully my knee doesn't limit my riding too much this year... Seeing the doc tomorrow afternoon.

Weather was GREAT, traction was AMAZING!
Nobody had any bike problems or serious crashes.
AND and thetable and the OFG got in 4 laps of Blue and 2+ laps of Red!
I don't EVER remember conditions this good at the Cove!
