606's installed, 14 tooth primary gear installed, chain shortened, oil changed, air filter cleaned,new luggage installed, new (to me) FCR carb installed and tuned, GPS re-wired, all wheel bearing checked, swing arm lubed and test ridden. I think the Dizzer is ready!! IZZIT TIME YET?!?!?!?!?!

What gearing are you running? It seems tough to gear for open road plus trail.

14 x 44. It'll still do 75 without completely wringing it out and still have a fairly low first. That gearing has worked for everything but really tight, rocky single track. We're not getting into any of that, right? :deal:

Seemed to be a good compramise for offroad while still being pretty highway capable.

I did that tough rocky A option at Michaux with said gearing, and 70+ on route 15 in the same day.

And that is the definition of a true dual-sport bike!!

I run a 14-48 on the Honda and really like it for what ever that's worth....

I am working on finalizing the route and itinerary; hope to have something to share next week.
