I saw this posted on MAVT website today, Trials event may be postponed due to bad weather expected this weekend, from their website, so check Saturday before you plan to go on Sunday. Notice on this page:

Attention! At this time, the weather forecast for our event at New Windsor, MD is not looking good. Heavy rain is forecast as well as rain Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We have not made a decision to postpone yet, but will be closely watching weather development over the next couple of days and will decide by Saturday morning at the latest. If we postpone we will move the event to the following Sunday, October 11. If we postpone, it will be posted here and we will e-mail many members, asking them to spread the word.

Attention! New Windsor Postponed Normally we hate to trust the weatherman too much, since often forecasts change from day to day. However, we'd rather be safe than sorry concerning this weekend's event at New Windsor, so we have decided to move the event to the following Sunday, October 11. Several inches of rain are forecast for our area over the next few days. Once this has passed, we will assess the conditions at New Windsor and post those findings here. Please check back early next week and we should be able to let you know for certain about the new date.

New Windsor is this Sunday Though we got several inches of rain last week, there was no severe flooding and things are drying out nicely. We are a "Go" for this Sunday, October 11.

Great Event! Nice sections, good traction and a good turnout on a wonderful fall day! MAVT provided a nice picnic dinner at the end of the event (like they usually do). If you have never ridden New Windsor, make sure you ride it next year!

Weather was epic, plenty of fresh cut sections. Has to rank as one of the most fun events of the year.
