Being this cold out you will be too numb to feel any broken bones from crashing.

Im bummed Im missing this. I kept this day free, was suppossed to take my kid to a snow tubing event this afternoon. And I got the email too late this morning saying they are cancelling due to the cold.

Im sure nobody is sweating but I bet it is still a good day out riding.

Was a good day, not too cold if you didn't stand around much..... Took me more than a handfull of times getting thrown on my butt to learn to really really look for ice under snow & cross very carefully :lol2:
All good though, got a good workout & nothing broken

Major cudos to the manly men who came out and rode; they definitely get an x-tra hole punched in their man-card!

Most every rut you see in the pic was filed with ice, but with the light dusting of snow you never really knew what was waiting for you. One of the downhill sections on the red trail had been earlier taken over by flowing water but had then froze into a complete trail width quarter mile ice slide. Still, some sections of trail were still very ridable and the rocks have not taken the winter off. Overall, lots of fun sliding around with some good riding buddies...
