Midweek Ride 12/20 or 21

My noob buddy is trying to get some experience and wants to go for an "official" offroad ride. He says he is ready for some rocks.

Wed is looking better weatherwise. I might have a thing in the morning so it might be a later start like 11:30-noon at the MotoCove.

Tuesday looks a little colder but we could definitely get a "normal" start time of like 0945-1000. Tasker's or Cove.


I'll try and get back w/ some details as they firm up. Just wanted to give a head's up for anyone who wanted to come out and play.

I could possibly ride on Wednesday the 21st. My wallet is pretty slim with Christmas coming up, so Tasker's would be my pick, although I do prefer The Cove since it's closer and has better trails. I work on the 20th and it's looking pretty good that I'll get enough OT on this check to not need to work on Wednesday.

Okay, ride plans are as follows.

Tuesday, 12/20. Meeting at the (shell?) gas station right off 81 in Edinburg at 0945ish. Get our $5 passes and head over to the parking area to ride.

My buddy is on the newer side. We will probably skip most of the harder stuff. Though I may have to do a quick solo run on that one uber rocky trail.

No worries. I'll probably ride a few laps here at the house today. I might even do some riding on Thursday either at the house or Tasker's.

10 degrees here this morning. At least the sun is shining.

Sorry to all who missed out. We had a great ride today. A little cold as we got started but a few minutes into the rocks and we were warm.
New guy Adam did awesome for his first time at Taskers. We skipped the easy Peters Mill Run side and went straight to the good stuff.

Some new trails Id never been on. Lots of cool shorter trails off of the jeep road. I can remember all the numbers but 553H and 553A(?) were super fun.
