Jay the only part of the trail that has been taken out is that little hook listed as location "N". Forester claimed if was not able to be maintained so it was closed and a short connector trail across the top has been installed to connect the section that is closed...
Just use caution with Mitchel as if you slide to the bottom just remember you need to get back out....that has become a task for some in the past about this time of year.
