Beginner is just that, do turns around cones in a grass field.
You will want to have a go at all the classes with exception to the advanced classes of ledges and splatters.
Within each class they will normally have a easier and a harder option or move from easier to harder and if harder is not your thing then just spend more time working on the easier. Lots of listening and learning. If you hit a class that is just more than you want to try....just watch closely and listen to what the instructor is saying.

Yes I have! I've mastered falling down without letting go of the bars. I practice that a lot. I spent an hour yesterday working on basics such as arm pump and dabbing. :lol2:

Seriously though, my balancing is improving and I actually managed to start riding from a balanced position once. I think I'll be ready for the beginners class!

Bruce was busy watching my nephew do stupid circus tricks...now just a couple beers in him with positive reinforcement and Bruce will be running a PRO plate.

So really, the hardest stuff is the slow controlled tight turns, no doubt.
Easy to practice in the yard or driveway.

Hitting the big logs was fun. Once I realize I can make it over, ugly of course, it's just a matter of practice. The big rocks in the woods were fun. Sure, I dabbed a lot, but I got up and over.

Make a 3ft splatter wall and I'll try it :lol2:

BTW - Ethan is DAMN good. The stuff he was hopping in the woods was way cool.

A little late... I'm heading down from near Burtonsville, MD solo. Have space in the truck for more people and bikes if anyone wants to carpool. Technically I have a spare bike if someone is interested in going and doesn't have one. Contact me if interested.
